THE HIGHLANDER WAY

HIGHLANDERS are members of the Royal Army and Loyal Servants of the King.  The HIGHLANDERS have a special regiment known as the Black Watch.  The tartan (plaid) of the black watch is blue, green, and black. As the HIGHLANDERS of the black watch would guard the highlands, the villagers would look up and know they were safe.  From this distance, the tartan was so dark that it appeared black – giving the nickname – the black watch. The HIGHLANDERS are “the Protectors of the Mountains and the Keepers of the Faith.”
